Of the Full Tilt Poker tables that you can download, you will find three different types;
1. The "racetrack" view. These tables will either come as one table or have a seperate background file for you to install.
2. The "classic" view. Like the racetrack this image will come with two files, one being the table and the second being the background image. Often these tables will need the background installed to get the full effect of the table (this is not always necessarily so with the "racetrack view".
3. The "classic" complete. this table is one whole image and contains both the table and the background. A good example of this is Wombli's "2 Frogs" table.
The following article describes how to install full tilt poker tables on the windows operating system. The screenshots are taken with Vista, but the same folders exist in XP.
Before you start going into the computers files, ensure that you have downloaded and unpacked your custom table and put them on your desktop so we can easily "drag and drop" them later on.
First press "start" then "my computer" (or just "computer" in vista). we now need to find your local hard drive this will usually be displayed as "C:/"
fig#1
double click on your C:/ drive. You shouldthen see a folder called "program files".This folder contains all the software installed on your computer. Open this folder and search through the folders insideuntil you find the folder named "Full Tilt Poker".
fig#2
Open this folder, then open the "graphics" folder, then the folder name "Table". The Table file contains all the folders that we need to change in order to get out table to show up on full tilt poker.inside you will see several folders. The first folder we need to change is the "elements" folder .
fig#3
Open the "elements" folder. inside you will see all the images that you should recognise from playing on full tilt poker. If you scroll to the bottom of the page you will see the graphics for the tables. The "racetrack" view table is named "TableRT" and the "classic" view table is simply named "Table".
fig#4*The view inside the "elements" folder
1. "Racetrack" view:
If you have downloaded a "racetrack" style table find the table in the elements folder named "TableRT". Right click this table and rename it "TableRT Safe" (without the ""). (If you ever want to go back to the original table simply come back and rename the table "TableRT" again). Next, navigate to your desktop and find the table that you downloaded. Right click and rename this table "TableRT", then drag the table into the elements folder next to the table you renamed to "TableRT safe" earlier. Then exit the elements folder and go back into the folder named "Table" with the several folders.
2. "Classic" view:
If you have downloaded the Classic view with two seperate files (one a table one a background image) find the table in the elements folder named "Table". Right click this table and rename it "Table Safe" (without the ""). (If you ever want to go back to the original table simply come back and rename the table "TableRT" again). Next, navigate to your desktop and find the table that you downloaded. Right click and rename this table "Table", then drag the table into the elements folder next to the table you renamed to "Table safe" earlier. Then exit the elements folder and go back into the folder named "Table" with the several folders.
3. "Classic" complete:
if you have just one image with the background and table together all we need to do here is disable the image named "Table" in th elements folder. Find the table in the elements folder named "Table". Right click this table and rename it "Table Safe" (without the ""). (If you ever want to go back to the original table simply come back and rename the table "TableRT" again) Then exit the elements folder and go back into the folder named "Table" with the several folders.
if you have exited back into the "Table" folder you should now see the folders in the image below.

1. "Racetrack" view:
If your "racetrack" table came with a seperate bacground image file, we now need to install this. In the "Table" folder find the file name "Racetrack" and open it. In here you will find several folders with names that you should recognise from playing on full tilt, 'blue carpet', 'Final Table' etc. Wenowneed to choose one of these to change in order to dispplay your background. (Note that you will not be able to view the image you change as this will be come "your" background). Probably the best image to change is the "gold carpet" image. Do not alter the Final Table image as you will not see the lovely blue lights when you get to a final table otherwise!!
open the folder you have decided to change (e.g Gold carpet) insideyou will find image file as below
fig#6
Right click on this file and rename it "Table safe". then navigate to your desktop and find the background image file that you downloaded with the table. Right click on this file and rename it "Table" then drag it into your choosen folder next to the image you renamed "Table safe".
Close all windows and restart Full tilt poker. You should see the table straight away if you have followed the instructions carefully. To view the background image, right click on the background within the full tilt window and choose the view from the folder where you put your image (ieGold carpet view) this will bring up your new background.
2. "Classic" view (2 files seperate background). now that you have installed your table you will need to install the background. You should be in the "Table" folder now where you can see the folders shown in figure #5. Open the file named "Backgrounds", Inside here you will see the familiar names of "beach scene" "plain" etc. You need to choose one of these images to change so that we can install our own background. Diffrent folders have diffrent colour seats so you may want the seats to match your table and background (i.e the beach scene will give you wooden thatched seats). I wouldnt recommend changing the final table folder if you still want the bright blue lights when you reach the final table!
fig#7
Once you have decided which folder you want to put your image in, open that folder and you will see theimages displayed in fig #7 above. Right click on the image named "Table" and rename it "Table safe". Then navigate to your desktop and find the background image you downloaded. right click on this image and rename it"Table" then drag and drop into the folder where we just renamed "Table safe". Close all windows and restart Full Tilt Poker. to view your image simply select "classic" view and then click on background and choose the file name where you put your image.
3. "Classic" view complete. If you have downloaded one "classic"image where the table and image are contained in one file, You should be in the "Table" folder now where you can see the folders shown in figure #4.
Once you have decided which folder you want to put your image in, open that folder and you will see the images displayed in fig #6 above. Right click on the image named "Table" and rename it "Table safe". Then navigate to your desktop and find the image you downloaded. right click on this image and rename it"Table" then drag and drop into the folder where we just renamed "Table safe". Close all windows and restart Full Tilt Poker. to view your image simply select "classic" view.
