When you create a poker account, you get a user name. Some people. Normal people will give this name due consideration as u will be known by it if you "make it big" or have a successful career on the poker room.

then you get some people who maybe should have thought about it more. Especially when they are sat on a table with another like minded person who should also have thought to himself "i wonder what impression this name gives to other people when they play against me"

When referring to the word Dude and it's meaning ?
When a person refers to a gentleman as being a dude, is he simply implying that they are rather cool and dandy? the old latin word for dude refers to a camel's foreskin. Is it not safe to assume that he or she could be blatantly summing you up as a tosser.

One of these days, you guys will figure out that you don't want to be calling each other or yourself anything that remotely sounds like Dude!

nuttypoolog on Fulltilt seems to be wracking up some decent MTT wins.  I wonder if he took fame into consideration when he first deposited?

Personally for me when I deposited I didn't put more than around 10secs. of thought into a name.  I just wanted to get the money in there and start playing.  I used a nickname we've given to a friend or our's (in my circle of friends I hang with).  Do I like it today... .umm.. nope.  Does it matter... umm.. not really.  I did happen to notice that one of my friends signed up on Fulltilt and used almost the identical name.... the bugger.  Hope he plays like a LAG-tard so I can profit off the metagame.
